Questions Granny gets asked a lot

Honest answers. No fluff.

Can Granny guarantee my app will be approved?

No. Nobody can. Shopify has the final say, full stop. What Granny can do is make sure you're not rejected for something avoidable. Most rejections come down to the same handful of issues. She's seen all of them.

Do I need to use all my hours in one go?

Not at all. Split them however your project needs. Take a break between sessions, come back when you're ready. Any hours you don't use stay on your account and can be used for a future audit on the same app.

How do I know which package is right for me?

Here's a quick rule. Got a question, a rejection to unpick, or an idea you want a read on before you build? That's the Quick Pep Talk. One hour, straight to the point. If you're mid-build and want a full compliance review before you submit, that's The Build Partner. Two and a half hours, plus a direct line to Granny as you go. If your app is complex, the stakes are high, and you want Granny involved from day one, that's The Full Works. Five hours, starting at the blueprint stage.

What does Granny actually look at?

Everything. But specifically: your features, your UX flows, your App Store listing, and your privacy policies. She's not running a generic checklist. She knows where reviewers look first because she helped shape the process.

What if I run out of hours?

Top up. Adding more time is straightforward. Granny won't leave you mid-review. Just get in touch and she'll sort it.

How quickly can I get booked in?

Granny books up, so the sooner the better. You'll hear back within one business day to confirm a time.

Do you work with apps that are already live?

Yes. Live apps go through re-review when you add features or make significant changes. If Shopify has flagged something already in the store, Granny can help with that too.

Is this different from Shopify's official partner support?

Yes. Shopify's partner support will tell you what the rules say. Granny can tell you what they mean. She helped write them. That's a different conversation.
